Is it right for my child?

What age should they start?

Six or seven with Scratch, which needs no typing. Around eight for Python, once they can read comfortably and type a little.

Do I need to know coding?

No. The lessons do the teaching. You only need to make sure they sit down and start.

How long is a session?

Lessons are three to five minutes, and most children then spend ten to fifteen minutes trying the code. Fifteen to twenty minutes is a good session.

What if my child gets stuck?

Every project has working code to compare against, and lessons can be rewatched as often as they like.

Screens and safety

Is this just more screen time?

They are writing and running code, not watching passively — every lesson ends with something to type and test.

Does my child get an account?

No. You hold the account. Your child has no login, no email address and no password.

Can anyone contact my child?

No. There is no chat, no comments and no messaging anywhere in the platform.

What do you store about them?

A first name and their lesson progress. No address, no phone number, no photograph.

The certificate

Is it just for turning up?

No. The platform measures what was actually watched; skipping ahead earns nothing. It is issued only when every lesson is genuinely complete.

Can we prove it is real?

Yes — it has a unique number and a public page anyone can check.

Can I print it?

Yes, and a copy is emailed to you.

Practical

What device do we need?

Any computer or tablet with a browser and internet. Nothing to install.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes. One account holds several children, each with their own progress and certificate.

What does it cost?

[pricing]
